From his Southern California roots to surf breaks around the world, Jon Wegener’s shaping is synonymous with timeless design, smooth lines, and uncompromising quality.
Early in his career, Jon honed his craft alongside legends like Hap Jacobs and Bing Surfboards before starting Wegener Surfboards and building a reputation of his own. Best known for blending tradition with experimentation, he shapes everything from finless Alaias and Paipos to noseriders, mid-lengths, and progressive shortboards. At the heart of it all is his mission to build boards “ASAP” — As Sustainable As Possible — establishing the perfect foundation for this FUNNER x Wegener collaboration.
